Reception Held in Jackson Heights in Support of State Senate Candidate Jessica González-Rojas

A special reception was held in Jackson Heights, New York, in support of Democratic State Senate District 13 candidate Jessica González-Rojas. The event took place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the 5th-floor hall of Fauma Innovative Inc. (Address: 37-18 73rd St, Suite 502, Jackson Heights, NY 11372).
Among those in attendance were prominent community leader Fahad Solaiman, Sajadi Parvin Sarah, Shah J. Chouhury, DBC journalist Kanu Dutta, Online Porichoy editor Nazmul Ahsan, Pragya Newspaper editor and publisher Uttom Kumar Shaha, Kamrul Islam, Nazrul Islam, Akash Rahman, Faisal Aziz, Ruhin Hossain, and several other community organizers and activists.
The organizing team included Peer Mohammad, Fahad Solaiman, Majeda Uddin, Shakil Mia, J. Molla Sani, Mia Mohammad Dulal, Mofizur Rahman, Famed Rocky, and Mohammad A. Abed.
During the reception, Jessica González-Rojas engaged in discussions with community leader Fahad Solaiman, journalist Shah J. Chouhury, and other distinguished attendees. Key topics included the newly implemented parking signs in Queens, improvements to local school facilities, strengthening neighborhood safety, and expanding support for small businesses.
Following the event, González-Rojas spoke with members of the press. She sought continued support from the community in the upcoming election and expressed deep appreciation for the ongoing commitment from local media outlets.
