PS 220 Edward Mandel School Celebrates Happy Halloween with Joyful Student Participation

New York’s PS 220 Edward Mandel School came alive with color and excitement as students, teachers, and parents celebrated Happy Halloween in a festive atmosphere. Like every year, this year’s celebration turned the school premises into a lively fair of creativity and fun.
Students of all ages joined the festivities dressed in a variety of costumes—some as superheroes, some as princesses, and others as playful ghosts. Teachers also joined in the fun, wearing themed costumes to encourage their students. The daylong celebration featured a Halloween parade, games, “trick or treat” activities, and cultural performances that filled the school with laughter and energy.
School officials said that such events are organized to promote joy, creativity, and friendship among students. Parents attended the celebration and expressed their appreciation for the school’s efforts to create such a cheerful and inclusive environment.
At the end of the event, Principal Ms. Josette Pizarro thanked all students and guests for their enthusiastic participation. The day ended with smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories for everyone at PS 220 Edward Mandel School.
